Improvements
One of the many joys of owning a boat is when you get to upgrade her. In Curlew’s case the objective was in part to improve her ability to work as a charter vessel, while also staying true to her heritage. Of course we are always looking for ways to make her even more magnificent as well.
It’s been many years since the dingy davits have held a tender, but in 2014, we finally remedied that.
This deck hatch was remade in 2009 to follow he contours of the deck in the same way the main companionway hatch does.
Another thing of beauty by Rick. This stern seat, installed in 2010, has become the most popular spot on the deck with charter guests.
In 2011 Rick Brown redesigned and installed this tradilional looking but very functional galley cabinetry.
